I originally heard Kevin Spacey's version of this song from the movie in which he portrays Bobby Darin, and I am pleased to say that the original is even better than Spacey's-and his was amazing.
Darin has purely gorgeous vocals, and there's no way he could fail with this well-written song. The book (for once, getting it right) made this one of the main 1001 songs, and I agree wholeheartedly; the jazz band accompanying Darin's vocals is amazing, and the final swell is genius. There's not much I can say besides this: go listen to the song, and I think you'll be able to figure out why I gave it a 5.
