The High Road (2009)

Let me insert a small thank you to satellite radio for introducing me to amazing bands like Broken Bells. "The High Road" was the first song that I had ever heard by them, and though it isn't their best, there's something about it that's truly beautiful and perfect. The vocals are spot-on, the instruments parts are well-planned: everything just seems to work here.
Surprisingly, this song is not a part of the main 1001, though songs like "Crank That" are. (I'm really not looking forward to listening to that.) All complaining aside, though, this song is worth listening to, and so is "The Ghost Inside" (not in this book).
